Avionics Technician
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Avionics Technicians with install and repair experience on general and business aircraft in Van Nuys, CA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Avionics Technicians will test, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on general and business aircraft avionics components and electrical system components, and accessories in accordance with manufacturer specifications and FAA guidelines and in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 5+ years experience in avionics system troubleshooting, installation and check-out experience on general and business aviation aircraft.
- A&P License is a plus.
- FCC General Radio telephone License desirable.
- Must have the minimum tools as required.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must have the ability to follow written work instructions and engine manual instructions written in English.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
