Test Engineer

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Test Engineer for an opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Test Engineer needed with STRONG hardware testing skills.

Test procedure development; test planning and preparation; test procedure execution; coordination of system resources to support testing; support test development, integration, and anomaly resolution as required; provide software support to introduce fixes and enhancements to the CLS Test Station software suite as needed resulting. This role requires knowledge/experience with test program set development, electronic circuits, automated test software, manufacturing processes, and the manufacturing test environment.

Additionally, the ability to interpret test requirements, implement requirement based test methodologies, and utilize statistical data analysis is required. Analyze/troubleshoot ATE support equipment to include test cable assemblies, Interface Test Adapters (ITA), engineering sub-assemblies, engineering Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), and CCA test fixtures Analyze/troubleshoot test software and ATE software issues Support/perform ATE software and hardware validations/verifications Support CLS Production and Sustainment operations in Dallas and Lufkin.

Coordinate and interact with multiple on-site and off-site organizations

Qualifications and requirements:

• C programming and National Instruments toolset: specifically - Test Stand, and LabWindows CVI.
• Strong background in hardware testing. 
• 6-8 years minimum experience. 
• Active Secret or ability to obtain.
• MS Office.
• Experience desired: Labview & Linux is desired.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
