Contract Administrator

 

We are currently looking to hire a full time Contracto Administrator for our manufacturing facility in Addison, IL. We are looking to interview and have someone start ASAP. The position pays $22 to $33p/hour (Depending on Experience) on 1st shift. 

 

Summary

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through processing orders, preparing general correspondences, and coordinating customer service needs with other functions as required.  Maintaining customer records and account status is required.  Serve as customer contact, regarding such matters as pricing, scheduling, shipping and documentation. Establish, cultivate, and execute to maintain existing customer relationships.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops information regularly for the timely response to customer proposal and quotation request by coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing and Quality Assurance.

 

Prepare cost estimates and quotes in compliance with the Contract Review and Pricing instructions ASP721, which includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.

 

Provide telephone support to customers.

 

Independently review for acceptance/rejection the customer's basic contractual terms and conditions.

 

Review purchase order terms and conditions to insure correlation with those quoted and/or negotiated.

 

Review and process customer product returns and warranty claims.

 

Work with planning to enter customer orders within 48 hours.

 

Maintain follow-up with planning and other departments relative to delivery and communicate with customers as necessary.  Submit and negotiate changes as necessary.

 

Maintain customer purchase order and deliver record status.

 

Provide customer service support and response on problem areas on delivery, packaging, product conditions, customer returns or other terms and conditions.

 

Prepare monthly reports and assigned accounts status.

 

Maintain good customer relations through appropriate oral/written communication methods and including in person visits.

 

Attend trade shows, customer events, and conferences.

 

Operate within budget.

 

Conduct other duties as assigned.

 

Work effectively with all other department personnel to ensure customer interests are continually represented and balanced with company's requirements throughout the organization.

 

Manage assigned customer on-time delivery ratings.

 

Education and/or Experience                                            

 

Five (5) years minimum customer service experience in component or aerospace manufacturing environment desirable.

 

Associates degree or 2-year college education is required.  Bachelor's degree is preferred.

 

Must possess good oral and written communication skills.

 

Attention to detail and good organizational skills.

 

Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

 

Mature judgment and decision making ability when dealing with division and customer personnel.

 

Proficiency in MS Office applications, familiarity with database operations.

 

Competent in operating within MRP system.

 

Knowledge of ITAR, FAA, and Government regulations and commercial export compliance desirable.
