Numerical Control Programmer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Planner for an opportunity in Wichita, KS.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical expertise to cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
Plans, creates, verifies, and revises machine control data and documentation that directs the operations for numerically controlled machines and robots required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies.
Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, and software.
Apply knowledge of engineering data, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and machine control languages in order to plan, create and revise machine-control data and associated inspection plans.
Ability to create and revise measuring machine programs and/or computer generated solid models, statistical process-control graphic aids, in-process inspection graphic aids, and key characteristics media. Ability to create and/or validate machine-control data, inspection point coordinate data and documentation.
Qualifications and requirements:
- SKILLS NEEDED:
- Catia V5 NC Programming is required
- Vericut / Machine Simulation is required
- Hard/Soft Metal experience
- Strong 4/5 axis experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Good Communication/Teaming Skills
