LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for an opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

As the Project Manager this person will provide full-time, on-site project management. The PM will provide owners representation on behalf of the client company. 

 

Essential Functions:

 

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead construction status meetings and attend status reviews, design reviews, and schedule reviews.
  • Document each meeting with open actions, assign responsibility, obtain agreement of commitment and follow up with assigned team members through closure.
  • Coordination with utility providers to ensure timely design and completion of the required temporary and permanent infrastructure aligning with project requirements.
  • Provide building permit review status.
  • Provide analysis of contractor schedules including critical path determination and float time, recovery plans. Arrange completion of mock-ups and samples including approvals.
  • Organize and provide equipment start up commissioning witness with results documented.
  • Provide written electronic summary of construction progress detailed in “Deliverable Materials” section below.
  • Provide this information to above listed Engagement resources.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation of Owners Furniture and Equipment direct with vendors, including furniture providers, information technology (IT) and network infrastructure providers, plant security systems.
  • Coordinate and organize the project team including architectural firms, engineering firms, survey firms, consultants, contractors, moving companies, and local building officials.
  • Provide construction supervision to ensure the Environmental, Safety and Health polices, and procedure are always being followed at the construction site.

Functional/Technical Skills:

  • Proven project management performance adhering to schedule, cost and customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of ETC, Commits, EAC and project budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with executive-level internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven project management performance adhering to schedule, cost and customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of ETC, Commits, EAC and project budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with executive-level internal and external Lockheed Martin customers.
  • 10 to 15 years of construction management experience, including Industrial construction, or master's degree 7 - 13 years
  • Experience managing project budgets.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Experience with large infrastructure projects within existing facilities that must always remain operational during construction.
  • Experience in managing projects greater than $50M.
  • Experience Providing weekly teleconference status meeting, weekly electronic file status update including but not limited to the following materials:
    • Schedule Review and update
    • project budget
    • critical design issues
    • RFI status
    • submittal status
    • value engineering opportunities throughout the project.
  • Establish, organize, and manage all electronic deliverables on a SharePoint site.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance preferred - not required
  • PMP preferred
