Warehouse Worker
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Warehouse Worker for an opportunity in Bothell, WA
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have experience in working with Warehouse Management Systems such as Oracle and This person will be doing a lot of data entry.
- Systems experience with Oracle or other similar software is important.
- Shipping experience in a regulated environment such as medical or aerospace would also be beneficial
- Broad experience across receiving, stockroom, and shipping would also be part of a higher capability person.
- Responsible to perform work in numerous areas of the warehouse including receiving, stockroom and shipping.
- Responsible for material movement, storage and associated computer transactions.
Qualifications and requirements:
- MUST have a valid Washington Driver’s license.
- Receive and visually inspect packages for damage and sign for deliveries from customers and vendors, i.e. UPS, FED-X, DHL, and others.
- Uncrate or unpack cartons, remove and recycle material in proper locations.
- Verify count against purchase order as required and perform Oracle receiving transactions.
- Maintain the Trouble Shelf and the Trouble Shelf Aging Report. Provide the report regularly to Procurement to and resolve discrepancies.
- Scan, copy or file historical documents as required.
- Deliver non-stock material to requestors or notify requestor that material is ready for pick up. Shipping - 33%
- Ship sales orders, internally generated manual shipment requests and transfer orders per specified shipping instructions.
- Perform corresponding transactions using freight carrier software (FEDEX, UPS, DHL, etc) as well as Oracle and other export software.
- Pack material for shipment per ATA 300 specifications.
- Arrange for product pick up in accordance with shipping instructions. Stockroom - 33%
- Stock incoming material into appropriate locations and complete delivery transaction in Oracle. Identify manufacturing kit shortages, transact in Oracle and deliver to appropriate kit.
- Pick customer sales orders, internal transfer orders, inventory requisitions and perform all associated Oracle transactions.
- Prepare kitting packages for assembly production and perform associated Oracle transactions.
- Communicate with all internal departments and personnel via e-mail or phone to provide status of material movement activity especially regarding critical or AOG situations.
- Perform physical inventory counts as required. .
- Understand the daily work schedule and delivery requirements and perform work to achieve on time delivery.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment.
- No tools required.
- Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy
- Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
