Warehouse Clerk

 

We are currently looking to hire a full time warehouse clerk for our manufacturing facility in Addison, IL. The position is on 1st shift and pays up to 18/hour to start.

 

Summary  The following is a list of job responsibilities for the position of Warehouse/Shipping position.  Receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Daily cycle counting of inventory.

 

Picking parts for manufacturing orders.

 

Picking parts for RMR requirements.

 

Put away incoming parts to proper inventory locations.

 

Enter transactions in business system for picking of parts.

Education and/or Experience                                                                                                                           

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills                                                                                                                                                  

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

 

Mathematical Skills                                                                                                                                            

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 

Reasoning Ability                                                                                                                                               

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills                                                                                                                                                  

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software.
