Diesel Mechanic 

Shift: 2nd, M-F or Tu-Sat
Pay: $23 - $28+ per hour, depending on experience

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance (PM's), Electrical, Suspension, Airbrake, Diagnostic and Repair skills.
• Trucks are new and under warranty, so no heavy repairs. Primarily Freightliner Trucks and dry/liquid tankers.
• Work on tankers is primarily chassis (brakes, electrical, some tire work, etc.)
• Has the ability to perform basic tractor/trailer general maintenance and repairs,
• May need to drive tractor/trailer in/out of the shop or through facility parking lot.
• Any other duties assigned to support operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Equivalent of High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
• Must have own set of tools.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• CDL with endorsements a plus.
• Proficient with Arc Welder, MIG, and Alum Welding a plus.
• Pneumatic/Tanker experience a plus.
• Ability to speak, write and comprehend the English language in accordance with all safety-related regulations and product specifications to avoid product contaminations in addition to processing paperwork for invoicing, billing, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, spending time bending, climbing and stooping.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
