Manufacturing Services Leader - Facilities
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Services Leader for an opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Services Leader with Rolls-Royce, you’ll work closely with the Manufacturing facility and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure the delivery of both current and future customer quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements. This is an exciting opportunity, as you and the Manufacturing Services team will support the business through supporting the deployment of the latest Production System standards, in addition to ensuring that all responsibilities of the team are enacted to the required level and within the set timescales.
- Directly manage hourly workforce in delivery of facilities services including pipefitters, welders, tinsmith, millwrights, carpenters and electricians completing preventative and corrective maintenance
- Ensure that all Manufacturing Services personnel and other reports are appropriately, resourced, trained and developed using company standard processes.
- Work closely with the Group Property and Manufacturing teams to ensure infrastructure is fit for purpose and managed via an asset care program
- Ensures that agreed performance targets for all manufacturing services accountabilities are monitored using standard tools and appropriate actions are take where targets are not achieved.
- Ensure that all Manufacturing Services activities are compliant with the latest business Quality standards.
- Ensure that Manufacturing Services area comply to the latest HS&E standards and business requirements including fulfilling specific roles such as Responsible Person (RP) for specific activities
- Ensure that both planned and corrective maintenance actions are carried out in accordance with GP SP 6.1 through the deployment of internal or third-party resource, maximizing asset availability
Requirements:
- An Associate's degree with 7+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment OR;
- A Bachelor`s degree with 5+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment OR;
- A Master's degree with 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment OR;
- JD/PhD with 0+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment OR;
- In lieu of a degree, 9+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
- In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
- Experience in managing large teams is highly desired
