Service Technician
LAUNCH is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Technician for our production facility in Bedford Park, IL. This is a first shift position, 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. This positions is paying up to $30/hr to start. Anyone with 2+ years of exprience servicing and intalling windows and doors is qualified for this role.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of hands on experience working with vinyl and metal windows and doors
-Basic construction skills
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
-Willing to drive and travel each day, with some overnight traveling required
Job Responsibilities
-Repairs windows and doors from warranty related issues at customer sites. This will include:
- Glass Replacement due to seal failures or stress cracks
- Balance replacement of broken or wrong springs in windows
- Sash and jamb extension replacements
- Installing complete window units
