Pay: $60,000 - $75,000 Salary depending on experience level
Shift: 7AM-4PM M-F
Fleet Maintenance Manager
Summary:
The Fleet Maintenance Manager will be responsible for implementing and monitoring a Preventative Maintenance Program per company and DOT guidelines.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
• Manage a team of mechanics, drivers and a shop clerk.
• Ensure safe work methods are followed at all times.
• Schedule and direct workflow through shop.
• Ensure a high level of employee productivity.
• Maintain and balance inventories.
• Accurately record vehicle history.
• Perform quality inspections/audits on trucks and trailers.
• Assist technicians with difficult repairs.
Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of 5 year experience in managing a heavy-duty truck repair shop.
• Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of communication with management, coworkers, and suppliers.
• Ability to delegate work and manage his/her own and other’s productivity.
• Proven track record of success in leadership, organizational skills and time management.
Education:
• Minimum - High School diploma
• Preferred – Vocational and/or Specialized Training with heavy duty truck repair
