LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Engineer 2 (Electronic) for an opportunity in Simi Valley, CA. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Engineer II, Electrical provides Electrical Engineering expertise for all phases of product development, from design through production. Applies expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering in various aspects of the development of components and control systems.

• Provides Electrical Engineering expertise for a range of activates; designing, testing, maintaining, and improving electronic components or products.
• Solves technical problems using a combination of experience, judgment and precedents.
• Applies expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering in various aspects of the development of components and control systems.
• Prepares a range of reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Communicates complex technical information to others in a clear and effective manner
• Uses discretion and independent judgment when evaluating courses of action; makes decisions after considering various options.
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
• Years Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent ability to apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to explain a range of complex technical information.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
