Process Engineer
We are currently looking for a 1st shift Process Engineer to join our team in Elk Grove Village for the remainder of the year. Our company is a large ink packager and distributor for custom label printing machines. Pay is $30-$40p/hour and this will be only a 3 month contract till the end fo the year.
Shift: 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday. Working out of the office.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- 3 to 5 years of solid Process/Manufacturing engineering experience within a large scale manufacturing company.
- Proficient in process mapping, lean.
- Lead manufacturing automation projects, while being hands on.
- Familiar with bench top automation to enable cycle time reduction.
- Participate/lead kaizen events to improve manufacturing productivity.
- Proven skills and experience in fixturing (practitioner).
- Hand's on experience working with pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Project managment background to include minor budgeting.
- Facilitation skills to enable contractors/internal associates prescribed deliverables
