Quality Assurance Inspector
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Quality Control Inspector II with Military and/or Commercial aviation experience for an opportunity in Englewood, CO.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector with a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience. What to look forward to: As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be using your skills and expertise to ensure that our incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped product fulfill all quality requirements. You'll be responsible to visually inspect our materials, parts, and products at different stages of production for structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds and accept, reject, or request rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems. You'll develop, apply, revise and maintain our quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection.
Must-haves:
High school diploma or GED Equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings
Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
Experience with finished goods inspection
Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES
Basic understanding of material flow in operations
Experience drafting work instructions and SOP's
Experience with Network+, Security+, CCNA and/or A+
Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
