Body Shop Technician
1st Shift Mon-Fri
7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
2 Years minimum exp.
Interview process: Phone and onsite.
Pay rate: $20-$22 ph
3k sign on bonus. $1,500 at 30 days and $1,500 at 180 days.
Relo – Conditional and depended on skill level and where they are coming from. This will be on a case by case basis to review.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes diagnostic tools (both manual and electronic) to assess and evaluate required service/repair
- Welding and Fabricating skill required
- Provides diagnostic assessment of repair needs, based on experience
- Operates most machine shop tools
- Troubleshoots service/repair needs and performs necessary/required work in a timely fashion
- Perform work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership & factory standards
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
- Keep up to date with required factory training and certifications
Qualifications:
- 2 years of work experience as a body shop technician
- Mechanical skills a plus but not necessary
- Must have own tools
- Ability to read and write and comprehend written instructions and information
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Minimum of HS Diploma or Technical school graduate
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer and basic applications
Must have own tools. non slip steel toe shoes and wear mask.
