Mechanical Assembler
We are currently looking to hire several mechanical assemblers for our manufacturing facility in Franklin Park, IL. These positions pay up to $19/hour to start and are on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday 6 am-2:30 pm.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret assembly and elevation drawings
- Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies
- Read tape measure
- Experience using manual hand tools along with basic power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)
- Follow control document procedures and detailed blueprints
Knowledge & Skills
- Must know electricals symbols and schematics
- Must be able to understand blueprints and drawings
- Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
- Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals
- Basic computer skills
