Seat Assembler
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Seat Assemblers with experience assembling aircraft seats for an opportunity in Gainesville, Texas.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Seat Assembler is responsible for the assembly of aircraft seats. They will be assigned to an assembly cell and will be responsible for the timely completion of product while providing guidance for the other operators assigned to the cell. This person will be able to work independently and provide status on part shortages or on commit dates from the cell.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years aircraft assembly experience required for consideration.
- Previous seat assembly experience preferred.
- Must be able to read blueprints and drawings
- Must be able to read measuring instruments and use all hand tools for assembly.
- Must be able to check blueprint rev’s on the computer and be able to look up WPS and QAP’s on the computer.
- Must be able to work with manufacturing engineers on new methods and procedures.
- Must be able to work in any assembly area with very little training and be able to work with little or no assistance.
- Must be able to train other employees on assembly processes and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work weekends required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- No tools required.
