Function: A skilled-level technician who is able to-turn truck chassis into working trucks by installing truck bodies, platforms, service bodies, cranes, snow plows, lift gates, salt spreaders, warning lights, and hydraulic systems.

• Build completed work trucks according to work instructions and prints

• Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment.

• Assemble truck body parts and equipment by bolting, cutting, welding, drilling and through other techniques for mounting and building equipment.

• Work from blueprints and written specifications to meet customer specifications.

• Understand electrical schematics and 12V circuits • Understand the value that quality plays in the overall success of the company, help in increasing the quality of our products for the appearance and safety for our customers.

• Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process.

• Responsible for testing installed parts prior to final inspection

   

Qualifications

• Related work or educational experience
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow verbal directions and written instructions
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings a plus
