Small Commercial Isuzu Diesel Truck Technician
1st Shift Mon-Fri
7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
2 Years minimum exp.
Interview process: Phone and onsite.
Pay rate: $24-$28 ph
3k sign on bonus. $1,500 at 30 days and $1,500 at 180 days Paid after conversion to direct employee by Allegiance Trucks
Relo – Conditional and depended on skill level and where they are coming from. This will be on a case by case basis to review.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Some knowledges (both manual and electronic) to assess and evaluate required service/repairs
- Provides diagnostic assessment of repair needs, based on experience
- Operates most machine shop tools and testing equipment
- Troubleshoots service/repair needs and performs necessary/required work in a timely fashion
- Is knowledgeable about commercial vehicle parts, components, and their installation, and can share this information with less experienced Technicians or apprentices
Background Knowledge & Competencies:
- 2 years minimum work experience as a small to medium commercial trucks (Isuzu)
- Must possess a full set of personal hand tools
- Must have, or be able to develop, detailed knowledge of Isuzu vehicles and all equipment.
- Must have successfully completed appropriate diesel/automotive certificate programs in repairs and service
- Minimum of HS Diploma or Technical school graduate
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer and basic diagnostic applications
- Valid Driver’s License-Class B CDL a plus.
Must have own tools. non slip steel toe shoes and wear mask.
