Avionics Proposal Writer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Avionics Proposal Writer with corporate jet experience for an opportunity in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The avionics proposal writer will be working directly with customers on new avionics installations for private aircraft. Duties will include surveying aircraft, making appropriate equipment suggestions, communicating lead times and customer service. Candidate will need to have professional demeanor and excellent customer interaction skills.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 3-5 years experience with avionics installation and integration on helicopters, turbo props and/or business jets. These include, but are not limited to, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, Citation, Piaggio, HondaJet, Hawker, etc.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to interact with customers on a daily basis.
- ADS-B and FAN mandate knowledge is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
