Mechanical Assembler

We are currently looking to hire several mechanical assemblers for our manufacturing facility in Franklin Park, IL. These positions pay up to $19/hour to start and are on the 1^st shift, Monday to Friday 6 am-2:30 pm.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Interpret assembly and elevation drawings
• Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies
• Read tape measure
• Experience using manual hand tools along with basic power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)
• Follow control document procedures and detailed blueprints

Knowledge & Skills

• Must know electricals symbols and schematics
• Must be able to understand blueprints and drawings
• Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
• Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals
• Basic computer skills
