CNC Set-Up Machinist
We are looking for a strong CNC Set-Up Machinist to join our 1st shift team in Lyons. Shift hours are 6 or 7AM to 4 or 5PM, Monday through Friday with mandatory OT built in. We are a Precision Parts manufacturer and work with companies in fields such as Automotive, Aerospace, Foods and more. Pay will range from $29 to $34p/hour depending on experience. - Hands on experience working with 3,4 or 5 axis CNC Milling Machines
- Experience must be on Mazak machines while utilizing Mazatrol
- Programming experience using MasterCam is a must as well. New versions preferred but not needed
- Performing your own set up's, change overs, programs and edits on your own is very important
- Understanding and interpreting detailed blueprints on a daily basis is extremely crucial
- Holding tolerances within +/-.0005
- 90% of the work is on stainless steel and the rest is ferrous and non ferrous
- Must be comfortable working on 1 or 2 machines at a time
- These are larger more unique parts being made. So quality is important. They're not required to spit out thousands of parts at a time. So low volume high precision experience is a must
- Must own your own tools to bring on site. Mic's, Cal's, Dial Calipers, Indicators, Ball Drivers, Calculator, Scales. Can leave your toolbox on site
- It's very important to maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols
