Manager of Technical Publications
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Manager of Technical Publications for an opportunity in Orlando, FL. (This positon will transfer to Miami, FL after 60-90 days).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manager of Technical Publications will be responsible to all company departments for production and management of company intellectual property in written and electronic form.
Qualifications and requirements:
Submit revisions of company manuals to the FAA for acceptance or approval.
Issue revisions to all manual holders,including company employees, ground handlers, fuelers, and maintenance repair stations, in paper and/or electronic form as required.
Update all company manuals required on each aircraft and in the Technical Publications library, including “Fleet Compilations.”
Audit “Fleet Compilations” on a weekly basis for currency;compile and distribute revisions as required.
Maintain/order stock of Jeppesen Data for Company use as required.
Maintain Boeing, Pratt & Whitney and other vendor manuals, including tracking and inputting there vision service to these manuals.
Conducts monthly audits of outstanding bulletins to the manual system(for validity/expiry) and operations specifications audit via the Director of Operations.
Accomplish other duties as may be assigned by the Vice President and other department heads.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
