Service Advisor
LAUNCH TransTechs is seeking a Service Advisro tp schedule, assign and track maintenance work in shop;maximize utilization of maintenance hours available; communicate with customers regarding progress of repairs; accurate completion of repair orders; warranty parts procedures; maintain service records, etc.
Pay: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
Shift: 1st and 2nd available
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule maintenance work and advise customer of completion time.
- Assign maintenance work and track progress.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding service work.
- Enter labor charges on repair orders and assure accuracy of repair order information.
- Assist in overall warranty process, ensure proper procedures are followed and coding of repair orders.
- Help maintain volume of workflow in department.
- Maintain Service Department library and pertinent information.
- Any other assigned duties delegated by Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Equivalent of high school diploma or GED and minimum 2+ years of related truck or automotive experience or previous service adviser experience.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Knowledge of ADP/CDK a plus!
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
