A&P Mechanic

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Final Line A&P Mechanics with commercial C&D check experience on Commercial aircraft for an opportunity in Savannah, Georgia.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Final Line A&P Mechanics will install parts and components, lines, cables, etc. in area assigned using required tools and appropriate prints, specifications, and operational requirements to complete work assigned through final inspection, and assure conformance to specifications. May assist in instructing or mentoring junior mechanics.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Airframe and Power Plant License preferred.
• Three (3) years aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience such as auto mechanics, heavy equipment, etc.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in small-space restricted areas and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred. 
• Requires ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams and use all tools required to do the job. 
• Must be skilled in close tolerance work and have knowledge of use of special tools and ability to perform close tolerance work such as drilling, reaming, ship fitting parts, etc. 
• Ability to operate hydraulic mule pumps, fixtures, and jigs.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
