Electrical Assembler


LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Electrical Assemblers for an opportunity in Franklin, Wisconsin.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Under direct supervision, the Electrical Assembler I is responsible for performing simple cable assembly operations to build high-quality coax cables and wire harness products for the aerospace industry.

  • Builds simple point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions to a high level of quality and productivity.
  • Demonstrates proper use of basic hand tools: heat gun, hand crimpers, power screwdriver, solder pot, ruler, and other machines such as pinning machines and automatic wire strippers.
  • Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork relating to the building of assemblies.
  • Makes sure that workstation is clean, organized, and free of hazardous materials
  • Maintains clean, organized work environment and adheres to all factory safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Participate in first production runs of new products
  • Responsible for tool inventory

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience. 
  • Considered an industry expert within the field with little to no guidance needed.
  • IPC Wire and Cable Fundamentals preferred.
  • Crimping Fundamentals preferred.
  • Basic Soldering preferred.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
