Flightline A&P Mechanic

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Flightline A&P Mechanics for an opportunity in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Flightline Mechanics will be responsible for operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting all aircraft systems using approved aircraft data. Proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling. Must be able to interpret technical manuals and engineering data to support tasks. Complete assigned tasks within the allocated hourly budget and on schedule maintaining quality standards and preforming the tasks within the guidelines of safety regulations and requirements. 

Qualifications and requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.  
• Airframe & Powerplant (A & P) certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic.
• Proficient with using hand tools and precision equipment.   
• Capable of reading and interpreting approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics, and maintenance procedures.   
• Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, work in confined spaces in unusual positions 
• Able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs.  
• Must not be allergic to jet fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids, or cleaning solvents.
• Must have visual capacity and muscular dexterity to work on fine detail, high cost products with a minimum of errors and rework.
• Must have solid PC skills. All work entry is on a screen and digital.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
