Electronics Assembler

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Electronics Assembler with electronics and engineering experience for an opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble and hand solder printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Manually install a variety of electronic components, jumper wires and hardware by following written instructions and/or assembly drawings.
  • Create soldered connections to applicable quality standards.
  • Utilizes small hand tools for positioning parts to assist in assembly operation, stripping wire, forming leads, etc.
  • Perform inspection and touch up of printed circuit board assemblies, post wave solder and post SMT assembly operations.

Qualifications and requirements: 

  • Familiar with IPC-A-610C Certified, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
  • Experience working with both thru-hole and surface mount components.
  • Good eye/hand coordination (can work with small parts and assemblies.)
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills .
  • Knowledge of component identification.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as Bill of Materials, Assembly Instruction and Test Procedures.
  • Ability to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor assistance.
  • Top organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a team or independently
  • Strong manual dexterity
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
