Liaison Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Liaison Engineers with a strong background in the Structural Mechanics of repair and modification on commerical aircraft at an 145 repair station. This position is located in Goodyear, AZ.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Liaison Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and technical support for airframe-related problems encountered during maintenance and modification of transport category aircraft.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Two to Five (2-5) years experience in engineering field, preferably dealing in repair and maintenance of transport category aircraft.
- Must posses a good working knowledge of engineering principles, repair and fabrication practices, aviation hardware and general aircraft maintenance operations.
- Must have a good working knowledge of the use and application of aircraft technical data such as engineering drawings, SRM’s, MM’s, SB’s, IPC’s, etc.
- Must have a good working familiarity with aircraft industry programs such as Aging Aircraft, Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPCP), Supplemental Structural Inspecti(SSI), Repair Assessment (RAP), etc. for various fleet types.
- Must possess good oral, written, and organizational skills, and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language.
- Must be proficient with personal computers and with Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and be able to work under pressure with a minimum level of supervision.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
