Senior Procurement Specialist
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Senior Procurement Specialists for an opportunity in the United States.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Procurement Specialists will develop and lead strategic procurement and sourcing initiatives. The Specialist will administer requests for quotes, sales orders, purchase orders, and repair orders. Will also manage all MRO items and Rotables for Commercial Aircraft. The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of effective commodity based supplier management processes capable of achieving quality, cost, delivery and inventory improvements.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 10+ years procurement/supply chain background in a commercial airline or MRO provider environment required.
- Bachelors Degree/Technical College degree preferred or the equivalent in training education and experience.
- Must have extensive experience with MRO items.
- Must have extensive experience with Rotables.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation/contracting skills.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
