LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking A&P Mechanics with 3-5 years experience performing line maintenance on B747 aircraft.

Work Scope 

Looking for A&P Mechanics with recent commercial line maintenance
experience, (A and B Checks) to service modified B747-200’s in Lincoln, Nebraska.

A&P License - strongly preferred but we will consider someone
without, however; need to be eligible to obtain one in the future.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 Recent Line maintenance experience is a must & 747
experience/training but willing to consider candidates with
extensive line maintenance experience from a major carrier even
without 747.

Highly desirable:
Prior Launch experience
B747 Line Maintenance
B747 Gem FAM
Active Security Clearance
Prior Military experience

Qualifications and requirements:

Provide the following during the flight test phases of the modification efforts:

Pre-Flight inspections/keep preflight current.

Marshall Aircraft into / out of spot.

Engine Oil check / post flight inspections

Fix any Green Aircraft Squawks during a LFTS Test Flights.

Fix any green aircraft squawks.

Provide electrical ground power to aircraft as needed using Essex power units or other Air Force provided power units.

Provide APU / Hydraulic power as needed.

Must have the minimum tools as required.

Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.

Must be willing to work any shift.

Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
