LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Assemblers for an opportunity in Littleton, CO

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules boards panels.
  • Works from diagrams and drawings makes initial layouts and uses hand and/or power tools jigs.
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • May disassemble modify rework reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Skills needed:


1.) Solder, bond and coating certification. Prior fabrication, cable and harness experience. Box/Module assembly experience. Previous industry related certifications to include: NASA Hand Solder, J-STD, Hardware Torquing, Adhesive Bonding, Polymerics, Connector Mate & De-mate, NASA Cable Harness.
2.) Prior Solder Fountain or Wave Solder experience
3.) Prior Automated SMT experience.
4.) Experience with new product introductions, lean manufacturing, cost and quality
5.) optimization on the production floor is highly desired.
6.) Must display maturity of action and judgment with a demonstrated track record of resourcefulness from their previous assignments.
7.) Must be able to read and comprehend detailed work instructions.
8.) Must be able to perform basic arithmetic functions for weight measurements, torque conversions, and dimensional measurements.
9.) Prior experience in CCA/PWB solder fabrication, Box/Module fabrication, or Cable Harness fabrication.
10.) Ability to work second or Friday-Sunday shift may be required.
11.) Employment is contingent upon successful completion and maintenance of all required
