Maintenance Mechanic
Seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic for an opportunity in Arlington Heights on 2nd shift. This job is in a metal/steel fabrication shop that specializes in grinding and honing of parts. Looking for someone with a manufacturing background in CNC ID/OD high tolerance machines.
Shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. OT is a must, working close to 50 hours or more. Flexible on start and end times by an hour.
Pay: $22 to $24 p/hour depending on experience. Electrical experience would be a big plus not not required.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete weekly maintenance oil check list
- Weekly maintenance PM’s on machines as needed
- Annual PM’s on machines as needed
- Troubleshoot and make repairs as needed on equipment
- Oil drum inventory
- Cooler filter inventory
- Check distilled water level on the batteries (floor scrubber, scissor lift and walk along forklift
- Machine maintenance using lockout/tagout procedure
- Outside winter maintenance (shoveling walkways and salting)
- Perform other duties as required
