Regional Director

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Regional Director for an opportunity in Detroit, MI.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Regional Director is responsible for the overall guidance of the Region. The role provides a holistic, end-to-end service relationship and ensures all client deliverables are achieved with customer satisfaction targets met or exceeded. 

The Regional Director must possess the ability to communicate ideas and expectations in a clear manner to a diverse audience. They must be motivational and progressive with actions and commitments and responsible for understanding and appreciating organizational and regional policies and expectations.

Qualifications and requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.                

Required:

• Formal tertiary qualifications in Aviation, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Ten-plus years of organizational management experience within the aviation industry.
• Familiarity and experience with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
• Program / Project Management certifications are essential.
• Knowledge of and experience with the maintenance of aircraft of the class, category and type that the company operates.

Preferred:

• Associates of Science Degree in a related technical and/or equivalent field.
• Ten-plus years of related work experience performing inspections, installations, maintenance and preventative maintenance on Part 121, 135 or 145 operation aircraft.
• 5-10 years of proven practical experience in a related work environment essential.
• Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) credentials are desirable.
