CNC Machinist Lead
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist Lead for our facility in Lincolnshire, IL. Our company is a industry leading Hydraulic valve manufacturer/distributor for companies all over the world. This is a 1st Shift role working from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday with Saturday optional. 10 hours of OT is required. Pay starts at $25p/hour and could go up to $35p/hour depending on experience. Please see below for additional information and apply if applicable and interested!
- 5+ years of independently Operating and setting up CNC milling and lathe machines in a precision machine shop or manufacturing enviornment
- Update the schedule/production list and distribute work to the team as needed
- Experience working with 5+ axis CNC machines
- Train CNC team on new or updated processes
- Focus on continuous improvement using process improvement tools such as 7S
- Instruct team members on usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and monitor usage
- Operate machine/s while maintaining blueprint specifications
- Perform stability study of gauges used
- Load and edit programs as needed
- Perform initial inspection when needed
- Troubleshoot any issues
- Assist CNC team with any issues
- Assist with process improvement tools, such as DOE
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager
