Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector for an opportunity in Moses Lake, Washington.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • In this role you will perform production installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations and quality assurance on aircraft structure, systems, and sub-systems, including electrical and avionics on standard or experimental certificated aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 2 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline, or certificated repair station background.
  • This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.
  • Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please note your certificate number on your resume if you are certified. - preferred
  • Prefer a minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered This job is open for Employee Referral submissions. – preferred
  • Finger manipulation (keyboarding, other).
  • Reading from a computer screen, printed drawings or documents.
  • Working around energized sources (electrical equipment and hazards/shock, e.g., circuit breakers and wiring).
  • Finger manipulation through typing.
  • Frequent (3-6 Hrs.) working around fumes and with chemicals, exposure to constant noise and inside a confined space.
  • Frequent (3-6 Hrs.) flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist, laying down (back, side, front), walking.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 10-35 pounds.
