Seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic for an opportunity in Carol Stream on 1st shift. This job is in a manufacturer of stainless and alloy pipe fittings and flanges. Looking for someone with a manufacturing background and experience working with thick stainless steel. 

Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday. Or 7AM to 2:30PM, Monday through Friday if no 10 hour shifts wanted. There will be occasional OT on the weekends as well.

Pay:  $25 to $30 p/hour depending on experience. Electrical experience would be a big plus not not required.

• 4-5 years of related experience performing Electrical/Mechanical PM on various machines

• Keep all production machines running.

• Perform repairs on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components.

• Repair experience on CNC lathes (Okuma & Mazak) preferred.

• Hydraulics and PLC (programmable logic control) experience/troubleshooting.

• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery.

• Changing of coolant & oil.

• Experience working with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) a plus

• Electrical and hydraulic blueprint literacy

• Must have a mechanical understanding of pumps, valves, cylinders, and power transmission.

• Ability to identify when outside resources are required and when to seek help from the maintenance manager.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on production needs and plant activities
