HR Assistant

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking and HR assistant with recruiting experience for an opportunity in Jacksonville, FL.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Focus on data entry, scanning, email, and communication. Assisting Planning Manager and Quality Assurance Manager to manage flow of Job Cards to ensure smooth workflow of aircraft maintenance.

• The Podium Clerk answers to the Planning Manager and Quality Assurance Manager.
• The Podium Clerk will take receipt of the work package from the Planning Mgr. when a new plane arrives. Job Cards will be given to the supervisors to assign to the mechanics. Once the work is completed, the job cards will return to the Podium Clerk.
• The customer needs real-time communication of Job Card/aircraft progress. The Podium Clerk tracks everything, keeping up with where the aircraft is at on the maintenance schedule. Attention to detail, no cards can go missing.
• When the aircraft is delivering, there is a rushed flurry of activity as the entire team focuses to get everything completed so the plane can leave. Candidate needs to be comfortable working under pressure during these times and not thin-skinned where they might take it personally. This is a very busy and focused time for the team.

Qualifications and requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• One or two years of related experience preferred.
• Must possess data entry skills, able to type minimum of 35-40 WPM.
• Job duties include scanning to multifunction all-in-one printer/scanner.
• Send and receive emails.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook a plus.
• Interface/Communicate with Supervisors, Co-Workers, and Clients.
• Other duties as directed.
• The candidate will be working in a room inside the hanger with a few others. There will be foot traffic coming in and out of the office regularly. Busy environment with distractions. Candidate will need to be able to focus and work in this type of environment.
• Work is performed in a normal office and hanger environment with some exposure to outdoor temperature or dirt and dust.
• The working conditions are reasonably quiet but can be very loud in some areas.
