Interior Mechanic - Back Shop
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Interior Mechanics with back shop component repair experience for an opportunity in Everett, Washington.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Interior Backshop Mechanics will maintain, inspect, repair, modify, overhaul and troubleshoot commercial aircraft interior components in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.
- Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and service aircraft.
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Research FAA technical data to locate applicable data relevant to assigned tasks.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Experience in disassembly/assembly lavatories, galleys, windscreens, seats, and passenger service units.
- Bonding structural repairs to lavatories, galleys, and windscreens.
- Operational tests on interior components.
- Experience in replacement of decorative coverings
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid clear driver's license.
- Candidates will need to bring their own tools.
- A valid clear driver's license.
- Must have the minimum tools as required.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
