Seeking out a skilled Quality Engineer for an opportunity in Arlington Heights on 1st shift. This job is in a metal/steel fabrication shop that specializes in grinding and honing of parts. Looking for someone with QE experience in manufacturing environment type background. 5+ years of experience preferred. This role will develop in to a leadership/management role so this will need to be someone looking for a long term home!

Shift: 8AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday morning for 4 or 5 hours when needed.

Pay:  $25-$35 p/hour or depending on experience.

Basic Duties:

Approval of incoming/outgoing product, gauging, some knowledge of CMM programming, ISO 9001 standards,  internal auditor, blueprint reading/GD&T

Description:

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a machine shop/manufacturing environment
• Developing and implementing quality standards.
• Developing and implementing quality control systems.
• Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
• Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
• Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
• Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
• Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
• Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish would be a plus, but not a must have
• Maintain and clean and organized work environment
