Aircraft Painter
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aircraft Painter with commercial final coat experience for an opportunity in Macon, Georgia.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make sure masking is complete.
- Sand primer if necessary.
- Blow aircraft and clean with thinner.
- Wash paint booth.
- Apply top coat (three coats).
- Layout stripe scheme and mask for trim colors.
- Prep and scuff paint for trim paint.
- Re-mask aircraft and detail aircraft.
- Inspect complete paint job.
- Paint mixing.
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 2+ years of final coat experience on heavy commercial or regional jet aircraft.
- Must have the minimum tools as required.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
