Aircraft Inspector

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aircraft Inspector for an opportunity in Marana, Arizona.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preliminary inspection, hidden damage inspection, and final inspection on all items processed by the repair station.
  • Oversee the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as outlined in the manual.
  • Monitor the day-to-day operations and performance of maintenance to assure proper procedures are being followed.
  • Perform receiving inspections.
  • Perform final acceptance on incoming components and parts, upon which work has been performed outside the repair station by contract.
  • Perform internal audits audit
  • Communicate effectively with repair station team members.
  • Working knowledge of CFR 145 Repair Stations, 91 Operatiors and 121 Air Carriers.
  • Good computer skills iincluding MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Able to assist with building additional training courses and conduct Indoc and Recurrent Training.
  • Perform additional task directed by the Director of Quality.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

 

  • Must have Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
  • 2 years Inspection experience is desirable 4+ years as an A&P Technician
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • You must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays.
  • You must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside.
  • You have basic PC skills – (preferred).
  • Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. 
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
