Maintenance Mechanic
Pay Range: $29.79 to start, experienced candidates can earn $32+ if they go through the bump process, 12-18 month process
Start Time & Schedule/Shift: 90 day onboarding Mon-Fri, 6-2:30pm/ Continuous operations Monday, Tues, Wed 6pm to 6am, Thurs 6pm to midnight. Switching every 5 weeks. Back half is Thurs midnight to 6pm, Fri, Sat, Sun 6pm to 6am
Location: Irving, TX
Job Responsibilities/Skills:
• Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)
• Department/Area ownership, will be answering emergency calls and conduct PM’s/Correctives
• Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Maintenance Mechanics are also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, and using electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope).

• Understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
• Pneumatic system skills
• Our entry-level Maintenance Mechanics have a basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a unique skillset through the use of preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking. Maintenance Mechanics have the skill and flexibility to work on any equipment within the facility and to operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc® welders for repair, and fabrication.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Industrial Mechanic/Tech in food industry experience
• Rebuilding Pumps/Gearbox
• More advanced knowledge/experience in PLC and controls•

• Willing to learn and quickly grasp all knowledge during work with with other mechanics on shift.
