Production Technician IV
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Production Technician with
Experience in fabrication and assembly of high quality wiring harnesses and cable assemblies, ideally for aerospace or aviation applications.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Production Technician with a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least of 5 years of relevant experience. In this challenging, fast-paced environment, As a Production Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of our production assembly operations tasks on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables while working from diagrams and drawings. You'll be responsible for disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies. You'll make continuity checks and quality inspections on work in process and/or completed on the processing line.
Must-haves:
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Experience in fabrication and assembly of high quality wiring harnesses and cable assemblies, ideally for aerospace or aviation applications
Capable of working to NASA-STD-8739.1 (Polymeric Application), NASA-STD-8739.4 (Crimping and Interconnecting), and J-STD-001 Space Addendum (Soldering)
Read, interpret, and work from drawings as well as from controlled documentation and processes
Collaborate with engineers to document and develop fabrication processes
Troubleshoot electrical issues to solve critical path problems
Preferred:
IPC certificate
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances
