Director of Airframe Programs

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Director of Airframe Programs for an opportunity in Wilmington, Ohio.

Position Summary:

• Provide oversight management of major airframe maintenance and modification programs at various locations throughout the world. Interface with Senior Management, FAA, Aircraft Engineers, Aircraft Owners, and Operators. Inspect, research, and approve airframe records prior to purchase and transfers of ownership, leases, modifications, and maintenance.
• Provide oversight management of major maintenance and modification programs.
• Review Airworthiness Directive (AD) status reports and AD maintenance records for compliance. Retrieve and interpret manufacturer aircraft service bulletins. Interpret AMOCs and AWLs. Review lessee maintenance programs for continual compliance with requirements of aircraft leases
• Manages the process for return of leased aircraft by lessee
• Enter 1st duty, click enter to add another
• Identify and assist in procuring support equipment, components, aircraft furnishings, or parts. Coordinate with and provide support to Designated Aircraft Representatives (DAR), Engineers, and Quality Assurance personnel.
• Coordinates with Engineering, Structural, and Avionics Departments for special installation or repair issues on leased aircraft. Provides and coordinates technical support for customers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A&P License OR Bachelors Degree
• Familiar with representing the company during major aircraft maintenance and modifications performed by third party MRO’s on B767, A321, and A330 aircraft.
• Understands and interprets Part 91, 121, and 145 FARs.
• Understands and can interpret airworthiness directives, service bulletins, airline maintenance programs manuals, and freighter conversion documents.
• Familiar with My Boeing Fleet, AirbusWorld, FAA documents, EASA, and ANAC documents.
• Familiar with Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, and web-based drop box programs
