Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Skills Needed: Diesel Mechanic

Shift: 1st - Mon -Fri - 8-5
Pay rate: $24-$26 per hr.

Diesel Technician Job Responsibilities:
• Repair and troubleshoot major components such as engine, transmissions and differentials.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts.
• Identify and report potentially dangerous equipment and additional repairs needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, productive and efficient work area.
• Perform Service Calls and on the road repairs as assigned.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

Required skills:
3+ years of verified shop floor experience as a Diesel Technician 
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record 
Ability to lift 50+ pounds  
Basic Computer Skills to submit repairs for billing 
Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks  
Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders 

 

Nice to have: 
Experience with welding 
High School Diploma or equivalent 
Must have own tools
