Assembly Technician
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Assembly Technicians with experience performing assembly work on commercial aircraft for an opportunity in Washington, Missouri.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assembly techs will fabricate, modifiy, or repair mechanical assemblies, applying knowledge of mechanics according to assembly blueprints, manuals and engineering memos.
- Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and other structural and system components, working from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes and procedures.
- Functional test and correct, fit form and function of assemblies and components.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 3+ years of assembly experience. Candidates must hit the ground running.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. International Traffic in Arms Regulation/Export Administration Regulations (ITARE/EAR) clearance is required.
Must have structural riveting, sealing and wiring experience.
- Must be flexible and able to work independently.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
