Quality Assurance Auditor

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor for a Direct Hire opportunity in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for auditing of internal Maintenance, Inspection, Training, Records, Technical Publications, and other support departments to assure all work performed is in compliance with manuals and applicable regulations; auditing of maintenance providers for compliance with existing publications, safety standards and applicable regulations; evaluating aircraft part suppliers to validate quality programs; maintaining vendor databases; other duties as assigned.

  • Audit Airlines’ Maintenance, Inspection, Training, Records, Technical Publications and other support departments to assure all work performed is in compliance with manuals and applicable regulations and that records, housekeeping, and facilities meet established standards.
  • Audit outside vendor repair/overhaul agencies for compliance with existing publications, safety standards and applicable regulations to assure the highest standards practicable.
  • Maintain the Vendor Database.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Manager Quality Assurance.
  • Maintenance audits include, but are not limited to:
  • All publications and work forms current and readily available.
  • Maintenance performed in accordance with the methods, standards, and techniques specified in applicable manuals.
  • Maintenance records are reviewed for completeness and proper entries, and in accordance with specified policies and procedures.
  • Indications of inadequate training.
  • Airworthiness releases are executed by designated persons and in accordance with specified policies and procedures.
  • Adequate receiving inspection of parts and material.
  • Adequate control of calibrated tools and equipment.
  • Adequate control of shelf-life items.
  • Housekeeping requirements are met to assure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by the Airline.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • College degree and/or 5 years related quality assurance auditing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • C.A.S.E. Level III auditor preferred

  • A&P License preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret federal regulations

  • Ability to read and interpret airline technical manuals

  • Excellent organizational, mathematical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external associates

  • Travel required

  • Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by the Airline.

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. 
  • Four-year degree in related field - Highly preferred.
  • Previous TRAX experience - Highly preferred.

  • 737 FAM Course completion - Highly preferred.

  • A&P experience on Boeing 737NG - Highly preferred.
