Aviation Maintenance Technician

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity in Moses Lake, Washington.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.
  • Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.
  • Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.

  • Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 2 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline, or certificated repair station background.
  • This position requires an individual when working at heights to utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations.
  • Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required.
  • Preferred - Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • Preferred - minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline, or certificated repair station background.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and urinalysis.
