Shot Peen Operator
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Shot Peen Operator for an opportunity in Everett, WA.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate machine to enhance surface of parts
- Determine usage of different machines according to customer requirements
- Anticipate and overcome production related problems, material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and delays where possible and plan to reduce their impact on the operation
- Perform daily tests to determine size and shape of media
- Run test specimens and provide to customer as required
- Coordinate company projects and programs designed to support different initiatives
- Communicate with customer service on recovery dates and expected completion dates for processing
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines and submit maintenance requests for further maintenance work.
Qualifications & Requirements:- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- 2 plus years of experience in Aerospace.
- Blueprint reading preferred.
- Familiar with precision tools.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
